Tweetmondo – find twitterers near you

Tweetmondo is similar to some of the other local twitter user search sites previously profiled by us. You can search for twitter users in your area and easily follow them as well.

You need to login with your twitter credential. Please note that, by default Tweetmondo would send a tweet on your behalf the first time you login to spread the word about their service. However, you can disable this before you login to the system.

In the search box just enter your location, city and country and you would be displayed all the users belonging to that area. The search results would also display the time since last tweet of the users displayed.

Tweetmondo Says

Tweetmondo was launched in May 2009, and its name means “World Tweet”, as “Mondo” is the Italian word for “World”.

Tweetmondo was created to facilitate social networking by making it easier to find people physically close to each other, as we believe we can improve what’s out there. We don’t mean to compete with Twitter’s own search tool, but rather offer a different approach for finding people.
