Trendsmap helps you view trends in your area in real-time. The official twitter search might display trending topics but its for the entire twitter network. With Trendsmap you get trending topics from people in your area thus helping you know whats cooking around you!

To start with, you can go to your area on the Google map displayed at the site. Click on any topic to see related links. There are various views that allow you to view your city, region or the entire world.

New tweets pertaining to a selected trending topic are displayed automatically.
